Google is constantly expanding and changing its offerings and, as of the 6th of October 2020, they made some fresh changes to G Suite! G Suite has changed its name to “Google Workspace” – so what does this mean for users? The name change accompanies changes to prices and product experience, alongside new offerings. There are also new subscription options that give users more choices on what can best fit their needs.
How Do I Use Google Workspace?
Google Workspace will work just like G Suite, just with different offerings in the new packages. They are introducing the following:- Business family: this offering is designed for smaller businesses, and has been created to make getting started with Google Workspace easy and affordable. Business family offers collaboration and productivity tools, security and admin controls.
- Enterprise family: designed for bigger businesses, this option can function at both team and organisation levels. It includes additional productivity features, enterprise-grade administrative controls, and Google’s most advanced security and compliance capabilities.
