Social Media

Which social media platform is best for my business?

Our experts will recommend which social media platform will work best for your brand, taking your needs into consideration and giving suggestions in both the initial sales meeting, as well as consistently after you’ve signed up. We take into account on which platform your audience is spending most of their time, and then action it accordingly with your permission. We use the following formula to decide which platform is most suited to your business:

  • Facebook and Twitter - Meant for light-hearted B2C updates to create awareness, and build the brand’s following
  • LinkedIn - HR initiatives and B2B relationships, professional and educational content
  • Instagram - Increase product sales, mobile app downloads, create awareness and more
Do I really need social media?

Yes! Apart from a couple of rare exceptions, people of all ages, interests, and socio-economic statuses are on social media. Social media marketing creates and builds trust and loyalty, as well as brand awareness and authenticity.

How will I track my social media engagement?

Our social media experts will provide accurate reporting on a monthly basis to give you an overview of how your platforms have performed. We then adjust strategies accordingly. The metrics you track will depend on your objective and goals for your social media. The exact metrics will also differ on each social media platform. Here are some metrics to keep track of, if your objective is:

  • Awareness: Reach, Impressions, Views
  • Engagement: Likes, Comments, Shares
  • Website traffic: Link Clicks, Landing Page Views, Website Visits, Page Views

How much budget do I need to spend on my social media ads per month to get results?

The amount of budget you spend on your social media ads per month can have a direct impact on the amount of engagement, leads, traffic, and conversions you receive.

There is no set amount of budget that will guarantee success, but here's an idea of how much you will need based on average daily spend (per platform):

Facebook:

  • A good amount to plan for per day is R120.
  • For optimal results, you will need to budget for an average of R180 per day.
  • If you want your ads to run throughout the month, you will need to set aside around R2500 - R4000 per month (depending on the type of ads you are running).

LinkedIn:

  • LinkedIn's ads are pricier than all the other platforms.
  • A good amount to plan for per day is R180-300.
  • For optimal results, you will need to budget for an average of R250 per day.
  • If you want your ads to run throughout the month, you will need to set aside around R5000 - R8000 per month (depending on the type of ads you are running).

Twitter:

  • A good amount to plan for per day is R120.
  • For optimal results, you will need to budget for an average of R180 per day.
  • If you want your ads to run throughout the month, you will need to set aside around R2000 - R3000 per month (depending on the type of ads you are running).
What is the difference between page posts and ads?

Page posts are the content pieces we create that will be posted onto your social media platforms for your followers to see. These posts will only gain organic reach; meaning that they can only be seen by page followers or the friends of those followers if/when they share your posts.

Ads are the paid advertisements that are shown to a selected group(s) of people - this is done by 'paying' the social platform to make sure your ideal audience sees and engages with your content.
